Founded by Guillaume Galloy and Bruce Ribay, Noma Editions takes its name from ‘NOble MAterials’, reworking recycled steel, reclaimed wood and repurposed plastics into furniture worthy of the finest ateliers, without ever hiding where the material came from.
The Laime ottoman completes Charlotte Juillard’s collection for Noma Editions, distilling its architecture of recycled tubular steel into its simplest form. Designed around the seat cushion rather than a conventional frame, it offers the same tubular steel structure as the armchair and chauffeuse, without armrests or backrest to interrupt its silhouette.
Pictured here in a Black Satin structure upholstered with ecru Arpin Drap de Bonneval wool, the ottoman is made from 42% recycled materials and 100% natural, undyed French wool. Alternate structures in Blue Sapphire or Terre de Sienne red allow the piece to shift mood entirely while keeping its sustainable core intact.
