The Sen Recycled chair, designed by A+A Cooren for Noma Editions, pushes the collection’s central metaphor toward its most literal material expression: a shell entirely in white recycled plastic, the ‘wooden leaf’ reimagined in a resolutely contemporary substance resting on its stretched steel-wire branch.
Built on the same recycled steel wire frame as its oak counterpart, this version proves the Sen silhouette was never about a single material but about a gesture — a leaf settling onto a branch. Stackable and durable, it turns a waste stream into a chair considered enough to stand entirely on its own.
