Founded by Guillaume Galloy and Bruce Ribay, Noma Editions takes its name from ‘NOble MAterials’, reworking recycled steel, reclaimed wood and repurposed plastics into furniture worthy of the finest ateliers, without ever hiding where the material came from.

The Ghan side table, designed by Charlotte Juillard for Noma Editions, tells the story of a railway line in its very structure. Its legs are cut from scraps salvaged from a railway sleeper factory, then charred by fire before being paired with a curved recycled plastic top slid between two solid blocks of wood, joined by a brass spacer.

Made of 92.8% recycled materials, Ghan balances the dense, rough texture of blackened or peat-stained oak against the smooth, almost liquid surface of its black or white textured recycled plastic top. It is a table built from what industry discarded, engineered instead into a small monument to reuse.
