The Doum wall lamp is a reinterpretation by Studio Oud for Galerie MCDE, and pays tribute to Pierre Chareau’s triple Bloc Auvent wall lamp by extending its silhouette into a vertical movement.
Crafted with a metal structure and a luminous alabaster panel, the sconce emits a warm, ambient light that highlights the natural translucency of the stone. The alabaster is available with either brown or white veining, each piece subtly unique and expressive of the material’s natural character. Because of the natural qualities of alabaster, hues and veining may vary from piece to piece.
