The Tennessee Table Lamp LP designed by Glenn Sestig is not just a lamp for a console or desk. Combining strength and sophistication, it belongs to the collection the Belgian brutalist architect created for Ozone in 2020 as a tribute to the great outdoors and to music, engineered to integrate seamlessly into Sestig’s own architecture rather than sit apart from it.
Built from an aluminium and brass structure in a brushed bronze finish, the lamp’s soft, rounded white paper diffuser contrasts harmoniously with the rigor of its structure, while Ozone’s warm, high-performance light source glows steadily from within. Bringing together identical luminous modules across the wider collection, Tennessee reads as both architectural and decorative at once.
Wonderfully combining magic, technology and architecture, Gounot and Jähnke are inspired by light; they masterfully merge the Parisian tradition of craftsmanship with the latest LED light technologies. The clean lines of their designs conjure timeless geometries – cubes, tubes and circles – that encompass most styles, from classic to edgy. The assemblage details, metal finishes and lighting performance of each design are of the highest level.
