The Cha Cha Cha Stool 3 is designed by Pietro Franceschini, the Italian architect behind PF|Studio, whose “neotenic design” philosophy strips forms down to a pure, almost childlike geometry. Each piece is realized through an uncompromising material chain — marble quarried and carved in Carrara, metalwork cast and finished in Florence, upholstery crafted in Milan.
Completing the trio, this third Cha Cha Cha stool is carved in Nero Marquina marble with a matte finish, with a glossy option also available. Made in Carrara using the same process as its companions, roughly eighty percent shaped by robot before an artisan’s hand completes the surface, it closes the set’s quiet study in repetition and deep black stone.
Pietro Franceschini is an architect and designer based in New York and Florence, with an international curriculum, attending schools in Italy, Portugal, and the United States. Following his B.Arch cum laude from Università degli Studi in Florence and his M.S.Arch with 1st class honour from Pratt Institute, he started collaborating with several renowned firms, including Leeser Architecture in Brooklyn, Claudio Nardi in Florence, Laisné Roussel in Paris, and Carlo Ratti Associati in New York.
