The Collide Gueridon is designed by Pietro Franceschini, the Italian architect behind PF|Studio, whose “neotenic design” philosophy strips forms down to a pure, almost childlike geometry. Each piece is realized through an uncompromising material chain — marble quarried and carved in Carrara, metalwork cast and finished in Florence, upholstery crafted in Milan.
Collide is a geometric gueridon cast in brass and hand-finished with a textured, patinated surface in matte, crafted in the same Florence workshops that give every Pietro Franceschini metal piece its depth of finish. Once part of the Olympus Collection, it reads as minimal yet unmistakably masculine, its rough patina catching light differently across every plane of its faceted form.
Pietro Franceschini is an architect and designer based in New York and Florence, with an international curriculum, attending schools in Italy, Portugal, and the United States. Following his B.Arch cum laude from Università degli Studi in Florence and his M.S.Arch with 1st class honour from Pratt Institute, he started collaborating with several renowned firms, including Leeser Architecture in Brooklyn, Claudio Nardi in Florence, Laisné Roussel in Paris, and Carlo Ratti Associati in New York.
