The Blast mirror is part of the “Jewels for the Home” capsule inspired by Repossi’s iconic pieces, specially curated and produced by Invisible Collection with Atelier Pierre Noire. Los Angeles-based designer Courtney Applebaum infused Hollywood glamour into the Blast mirror, inspired by Repossi’s eponymous collection. Distinguished by bold volumes and a continuous golden thread, the Blast collection celebrates both ancient art forms, such as Japanese Enso & traditional Masai jewellery, and modern arts, blending conceptualism and abstract influences. The mirror evokes the contours of a head, neck, and base, the upper part of the oval is enhanced by a crystal rock, while the “neck,” composed of gilded metal, reflects the motif of stacked bangles.
Los Angeles-based Interior Designer Courtney Applebaum was initially drawn to architecture and interior design as she saw these worlds as arenas for self-expression and beauty. Established in 2011, her studio is dedicated to creating spaces that brim with purpose and individuality through a mix of design periods, furniture styles and unexpected materials. Curated eclecticism that naturally evokes a minimalist mood is the hallmark of each project.
