First model of Studioparisien, “A” like the first letter of a writing, of a collection. A shell enveloping an aerial seat. An innovator in weaving and fabrics edition for interior design, Métaphores is a celebrated brand, belonging to Hermès’ textile division.
Laurène Barbier Tardrew, an interior architect and designer trained at Penninghen, and Romain Jourdan, a scenographer and designer, met while working on their first project for a French luxury house — a collaboration they describe as “a true revelation.” Their partnership quickly proved fluid and effervescent, nourished by their complementary sensibilities. Together they develop expressive, elegant and contemporary spaces that highlight the excellence of French craftsmanship and reflect a singular language where refined aesthetics meet a form of precious brutalism.
