Embellished with a zig zag border and a tulip motif inspired by 19th century Ottoman samplers, these hand embroidered linen napkins add colour and vibrancy to any table display. Expertly hand embroidered by the women at the Anut Cairo Embroidery Training Centre (TOH) in Cairo.
Founded by Goya Gallagher, ANUT draws its name from Nut, the ancient Egyptian goddess of the skies. This new lifestyle brand celebrates Egyptian heritage and craftsmanship, bringing the light, warmth, and magic of this unique country into homes around the world. From their busy embroidery school, which enables women to learn a skill and work from home, to an Artist Residency programme that connects artists to a flourishing community of artisans working with ANUT, beautiful millennial crafts remain relevant in contemporary décor.
