After Michel Boyer sadly passed away in 2011, Ozone’s founders, Etienne and Eric, who knew him and worked with him, decided to honour his memory by re-issuing the Brasilia collection.

Michel Boyer by Ozone

Interior and product designer, Michel Boyer’s career is influenced by the seventies. Known for his broad approach to all fields of design, he created his own studio, and realised countless projects for prestigious groups. Meanwhile, he started a new company, Rouve, specialising in furniture and lighting design, including the famed Brasilia collection, launched in 1974. Michel sadly passed away in 2011. Ozone’s founders, Etienne and Eric, who knew him and worked with him, decided to honour his memory by re-issuing the Brasilia collection.

It is furniture that is not “constrained by the definition of a given room, simply allowing people to change their lifestyles”. From the bedroom to the living room, office, and entry, the Okéanis tables can be corner consoles, occasional or side tables, or writing desks, moving easily around the home. Pierre Bonnefille’s Stone – Mousse D’eau Coffee Table was first unveiled at the AD Intérieurs 2019 exhibition at the Hôtel de Coulanges in Paris, inspired by his travel memories. A poetic allusion to the artist’s voyages of exploration, this coffee table with its deep green colour evokes a rock covered with moss and algae swept by the water of a stream in Iceland. This coffee table, edition of 8+2 is hand made in the artist’s studio in Paris. Placed behind it is a Sofa 190 upholstered in a vintage Aubusson fabric. Its founder, Robert Goossens, started working with Coco Chanel in the early fifties: the iconic Chanel jewelery was artfully made by him and his exceptional goldsmiths, in his Parisian atelier.⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Since 2005, Goossens is part of Chanel’s Metiers d’Art, a network of heritage brands specializing in traditional crafts acquired by the Couture House.
