Founded by Karl Fournier and Olivier Marty in Marrakech and Paris, Studio KO has built private houses, museums, and hotels defined by clean lines, natural materials, and an acute sensitivity to light. Their first collaboration with Galerie Diurne, the Echo collection, translates that same architectural discipline into a series of hand-knotted rugs, each one drawing on the great figures of twentieth-century minimalist and conceptual art.
The Bridget Rug, designed by Studio KO for Galerie Diurne as part of the Echo collection, evokes the pioneering op-art painter whose rhythmic lines made the eye itself the true subject of the work, seeming to pulse and shimmer across a flat surface. Karl Fournier and Olivier Marty channel that optical vibration into a woven composition of soft, blended graphics, proof that the collection’s meditative neutral tones can still carry genuine visual movement underfoot.
Hand-knotted with 80% wool and 20% silk and 200,000 Tibetan knots, the Bridget Rug is the work of artisans trained in ancestral knotting, weaving, and tufting techniques. Colours are subject to sample approval and may vary slightly with lighting and environment, while bespoke dimensions can be produced on request to fit any room.
