Stephen Antonson trained as a painter before turning to plaster, brushing it on in layers and sanding it until it holds light the way canvas holds pigment — earning him the nickname “master of plaster” from Architectural Digest, in a lineage that runs back to Jean-Michel Frank and Alberto Giacometti.

A variation on the Four Arches pendant, this version hangs from a chain rather than rope, hand-sculpted in plaster on a metal armature and available in bronze or a bespoke colour.
