The Umbrella Rug by Lally & Berger x Manufacture de Tapis de Bourgogne is a poetic tribute to the traditional Wagasa, the Japanese paper and bamboo umbrellas. The circular design is made of hand-tufted wool held on a frame of thin oak ribs radiating from the centre.
The natural materials are responsibly sourced and woven following the French traditional manufacturing techniques.
Each rug is handcrafted by skilled artisans who master ancestral techniques such as hand knotting, weaving, and tufting. Due to its handmade nature, there may be slight variations in size and colour, and the patterns may adjust proportionally when the rug is scaled to different sizes. Colours are subject to sample approval and colours shown may vary with lighting and environment.
