It takes one talented plumassier many hours to complete the adornment of one of Lemarié’s plush cushions. Each of the feathers must be cut one by one, before being glued into their distinctive lace pattern. The result is a strikingly soft piece —an ode to symmetry and the patient hand of the artisan.
