Two tones, light sand and camel, meet in a Z-shaped figure across this cover, whose angles give a graphic edge to a soft, natural cloth. The T’nalak is woven from abaca by the women of the T’boli people at Lake Sebu, on the southern Philippine island of Mindanao. Because it is coloured with natural dyes, each shade varies slightly from one batch to the next. Kubo Curated, a London-based house with Filipino roots, designs its cushions around the character of this cloth. Paired with plain linen or set among the brand’s other weaves, it suits a scheme that needs a stronger line.
