Bituon means star in Cebuano, the language spoken across much of the Visayas and Mindanao, and the name suits a cloth bound up with T’boli spiritual life. The women weavers of Lake Sebu believe each T’nalak design is received in a dream, given by Fu Dalu, the spirit of the abaca, and are known as dreamweavers for it. Woven by hand in light sand and made into a cushion cover by Kubo Curated, it suits a bed, a window seat or a reading chair.
