The Cross Panel Weave Cushion Cover by Kubo Curated, its name a nod to bahay kubo, the traditional Filipino nipa hut, brings patient, hand-worked craftsmanship into every panel of this two-tone weave.

Crafted from naturally dyed T’nalak cloth, a sacred Abaca-fibre textile woven by the women of the T’boli tribe of Lake Sebu, South Cotabato, this cover fastens with coconut shell buttons and is shown here in light sand and terracotta. The cross panel design plays two tones against one another, an unusually graphic result for a cloth traditionally reserved for T’boli ceremonial garments and rites of passage.
