Kubo Curated

Solihiya Weave Cushion Cover

Add to Wishlist

Solihiya is the Filipino name for the open cane webbing found on the seats and backs of colonial-era chairs, woven by hand from strips of rattan. Kubo Curated borrows the name for this cover and makes it in T’nalak, the abaca cloth woven by the T’boli women of Lake Sebu on Mindanao. Offered in sand, terracotta and light grey, it brings a reference to Filipino furniture-making to a sofa or armchair, and sits naturally alongside cane and rattan pieces.
