Lesage Intérieurs is the interiors offshoot of the storied Lesage embroidery house, founded in Paris in 1858 and celebrated as the couture atelier behind Chanel’s Métiers d’Art collections. The maison carries its needle beyond fashion into the home, treating embroidery not as decoration applied after the fact but as an architecture of thread built into the very structure of an object.

The Japanese Wave Cushion by Lesage Intérieurs is embroidered in cotton thread using a simple chainstitch, a restraint that lets each clean, graphic line speak for itself. The influence of Japanese aesthetics is unmistakable, and the maison’s artisans bring a couture-level subtlety to what looks, at first glance, like the simplest of gestures.
