The octagon has long marked thresholds in classical architecture, from domed vestibules to the black and white stone floors of European entrance halls. Grace 05 draws on that lineage with a single, deliberate gesture. A broad black band encloses a pale sand field, and a slim margin of the same sand returns at the outer edge, so the black sits within the rug instead of finishing it. Keeping the eight diagonal junctions clean and true is more demanding than it appears, since every angled colour change must be built up row by row at the loom. The shape gives the rug a natural centre of gravity. It suits an entrance hall or stair landing, a square room furnished symmetrically, or the space beneath a round dining or centre table, where its outline echoes the table above.

Each rug is handcrafted by skilled artisans who master ancestral techniques such as hand knotting, weaving, and tufting. Due to its handmade nature, there may be slight variations in size and colour, and the patterns may adjust proportionally when the rug is scaled to different sizes. Colours are subject to sample approval and colours shown may vary with lighting and environment.
