Swedish Grace earned its name around the 1925 Paris Exposition, when Swedish design presented a classicism pared back to essentials, seen in the architecture of Gunnar Asplund and the engraved glass of Orrefors. Grace 01 takes up that vocabulary with the same economy. A narrow chequered band, edged with fine black rules, runs inside the outer margin like the inlaid stringing on a Swedish secretaire. Two small emblems sit on the central axis, a three-pronged form at the head and its mirror at the foot, recalling the stylised finials and tridents that designers of the period drew from antiquity. Between them the burgundy field is left open, and the dense pile gives the colour a velvety depth that shifts with the light. The symmetry makes it a natural anchor beneath a dining table or centred in a formal sitting room.

Each rug is handcrafted by skilled artisans who master ancestral techniques such as hand knotting, weaving, and tufting. Due to its handmade nature, there may be slight variations in size and colour, and the patterns may adjust proportionally when the rug is scaled to different sizes. Colours are subject to sample approval and colours shown may vary with lighting and environment.
