Certificate of authenticity
For 60 years, Chez Georges has been a Parisian institution, celebrated for its tradition, authenticity, and distinctive French dining culture—now echoed in the elegant Chez George chair by Pierre Augustin Rose.
To honor this rich legacy while embracing the future, Jean-Gabriel de Bueil turned to Pierre Augustin Rose, known for its timeless approach to design, to reinvent the classic bistrot chair. The challenge: preserve its iconic silhouette while introducing a new sense of comfort, elegance, and modernity—without ever betraying its historic roots.
After months of thoughtful collaboration and meticulous craftsmanship, the chaise Georges now graces every table at the restaurant. With its refined proportions and softened lines, it seamlessly carries the spirit of the past into the present, offering a delicate balance between heritage and contemporary sophistication.
