The Cookie 1 coffee table is made in collaboration with Fabienne L’Hostis, a ceramic artist and Raku specialist. The table features an elegant Raku top in creamy white dotted by three playful cookie-like brown circles. The Cookie 1 table was designed for the restaurant of the Museum of Modern Art in Paris.
Founded by Julien Sebban, Uchronia is a multidisciplinary architecture and design collective based in Paris. Its name draws from a neologism coined by Charles de Renouvier, a 19th century French philosopher who brought forward the concept of alternative worlds, a sort of unbridled “what if” … Known for its singular ethos, Uchronia has delivered countless projects defined by striking atmospheres and unparalleled craftsmanship. Each space – encompassing private homes, restaurants, shops and exhibition venues – is designed with the “what if” factor in mind and all the exciting adventures that could take place in it.
