Les MétamorFoses is a French nonprofit uniting artistic upcycling and craftsmanship, transforming imperfect materials — offcuts and leftovers from France’s most prestigious luxury workshops — into signed, one-of-a-kind works.

Recycled Glass Piece 32 belongs to designer François Azambourg’s series of 35 unique vases for Les MétamorFoses, each one hand-formed from recycled glass gathered from workshop offcuts — a direct expression of the nonprofit’s founding purpose of turning discarded material into genuine, collectible objects.

Blown in tones of yellow and gold, this particular piece carries the irregularities inherent to recycled glass — subtle bubbles, shifting density, an unrepeatable palette of color — so that no two vases in the series are ever quite alike. Its warm hues make it read almost like captured sunlight, solidified into a vessel.
