Each piece is realized in collaboration with a renowned artist or designer and produced by French artisans, many bearing the state-recognized Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant label, so that what might otherwise be discarded becomes the raw material for genuine collectible design.

The Oval Wall Sculpture, created by textile artist Tiffany Bouelle for Les MétamorFoses, transforms fabric offcuts into a piece of wall art in a strictly limited edition of four, following the nonprofit’s founding idea that a workshop’s surplus can be reworked into something with genuine artistic intent.

Built on an oval frame of poplar wood, the piece is covered in soft pleats of cotton and fabric sourced from the historic Maison Thevenon, the folds catching light and shadow across the curved surface in a rhythm that shifts depending on where you stand. The effect is quietly textile and quietly sculptural at once, softening a wall the way a piece of clothing might soften a body.
