Osanna Visconti

Leaf Sugar Spoon

Add to Wishlist

Born from Osanna Visconti’s early years shaping jewellery before turning her hand to the scale of the home, this small spoon carries the same instinct for wearable, tactile form. A single leaf, veined and slightly curled at the edge, becomes the bowl of the spoon, cast so that the wax model retains the organic irregularities of a real leaf rather than smoothing them into symmetry. It is this fidelity to nature, achieved only through hand modelling rather than machine tooling, that gives each piece its quiet individuality. Visconti, who grew up surrounded by sculpture in her family’s Roman home, treats tableware as an extension of that sculptural sensibility. Suited to a breakfast tray or a coffee service where small objects are seen and held up close, it rewards the kind of attention only handmade pieces invite.
