Studioformart is a marble atelier in Carrara founded by brothers Andrea and Simone Dell’Amico, a reference point for marble craftsmanship in the city.
The Square Piccolo Plate is the smallest member of Studioformart’s Square service for Mmairo, scaled down from the Piano dinner plate and the Fondo soup plate to serve as the dessert plate that completes the set. It carries forward the same rejection of soft, linear shapes that defines the whole collection, proving that a service built on rigorous squares can still feel warm and tactile once rendered in stone.
Made from White Bianco Carrara marble with the same smooth finish used across the Square set, the Piccolo Plate keeps its proportions honest to its dinnerware siblings, so the three pieces can be stacked or arranged together without ever losing visual harmony. Because Mmairo controls extraction and manufacture in-house from its own Carrara quarries, the marble’s natural veining stays consistent across a full table setting, however many Piccolo plates are ordered.
