Studioformart is a marble atelier in Carrara founded by brothers Andrea and Simone Dell’Amico, a reference point for marble craftsmanship in the city.

The Curvati Tray, designed by Studioformart for the Carrara marble house Mmairo, was born from what its makers call a search for magnificence: the surprise of a curved slab of stone, shaped by hand into something fluid, even though marble itself is anything but. Founded in 2003 by brothers Andrea and Simone Dell’Amico, Studioformart approaches Bianco Carrara marble as sculptors first and product designers second, coaxing a rigid material into a gesture that reads as effortless movement.

Cut from a single block of Bianco Carrara marble and finished with a smooth surface that lets the stone’s natural veining read clearly across the curved contour, the Curvati Tray was designed to hold vegetables and fruit, sushi and pastries suspended between desire and reality. Each tray channels Mmairo’s promise of controlling every stage of production, from the quarry above Carrara to the artisan’s final polish, so the marble’s grain and luminosity remain entirely its own.
