The Marquesa Bench by Oscar Niemeyer and his daughter Anna Maria Niemeyer was originally designed in 1974. This iconic design embodies Niemeyer’s exquisite curves and sinuous forms that defined his seminal modern architecture; at the same time, the Marquesa is reminiscent of the classic scroll bench. The bench bears an embedded seal certifying its authenticity by the Fundação Oscar Niemeyer.
