The Resin Stool Model Two carries the maker’s mark of Studio Floris Wubben, who has spent over a decade re-engineering industrial extrusion machines by hand in his Haarlem workshop, then lets them behave unpredictably, treating each pull of clay or resin as a negotiation between human intention and mechanical chance.
Cast in resin and finished in a weathered R02 aged copper epoxy, this stool takes the same extruded, hand-guided silhouette that defines Studio Floris Wubben’s stoneware pieces and gives it a metallic, almost archaeological patina. The copper-toned surface deepens unevenly across the twisting form, so that light collects differently in every fold left by the extrusion process.
