Studio Floris Wubben approaches ceramics like an engineer solving a problem: by building a machine that has never existed. The Resin Stool Model Six emerges from this workshop culture, where custom extrusion presses coax stoneware and resin into forms no mould could produce, each one bearing the trace of its own making.

Inspired by the squat, fortified silhouettes of coastal defense bunkers Wubben grew up around in Zeeland, this stool combines manual shaping with mechanical extrusion to produce a rugged, almost armoured form. Shown in a soft R04 pink smoke with a fresh R07 apple green also available, its resin surface softens what could be a purely defensive shape into something closer to a childhood memory of dunes and woods.
