The Sunny 2 Chair was designed in Paris. The chair’s shape is a tribute to the ancient confidente chair, and a contemporary take on “social distancing” … Both organic and graphic at the same time, it is a true co-creation driven by a strong desire for experimenting with forms and materials.
Founded by Julien Sebban, Uchronia is a multidisciplinary architecture and design collective based in Paris. Its name draws from a neologism coined by Charles de Renouvier, a 19th century French philosopher who brought forward the concept of alternative worlds, a sort of unbridled “what if” … Known for its singular ethos, Uchronia has delivered countless projects defined by striking atmospheres and unparalleled craftsmanship. Each space – encompassing private homes, restaurants, shops and exhibition venues – is designed with the “what if” factor in mind and all the exciting adventures that could take place in it.
