The studio’s best-known creation, the Panther Sofa and Armchair, channels the panther motif that has defined Cartier’s jewelry house for nearly a century into upholstered form. Its Sévigné and Luco collections draw on literary and geographic Parisian references, the same instinct for storytelling carried into every material choice.

The Luco Console carries the collection’s Jardin du Luxembourg reference into a more architectural register, its black oak body finished in satin varnish reading closer to the garden’s shaded allées than to its sunlit basins. Studioparisien designed the console as a quietly grounding piece, meant to anchor an entryway rather than compete with it.

The same silhouette is also available in light oak with a gloss lacquer, a lighter, more reflective counterpart to the satin black oak shown here, so the piece can shift from shadow to sunlight depending entirely on the finish chosen, a flexibility the designers see as essential to real interiors rather than showroom settings.
