Studio Floris Wubben approaches ceramics like an engineer solving a problem: by building a machine that has never existed. The Tiny Table Two emerges from this workshop culture, where custom extrusion presses coax stoneware and resin into forms no mould could produce, each one bearing the trace of its own making.
Like its siblings in the Killing My Darlings series, the Tiny Table Two started out as a larger extruded stoneware form that Wubben then pared back, cutting away material until this compact side table emerged. Photographed in sky-blue H02 and offered as well in caramel-peach H08 or a warm H30 brown-cream, its faceted surface still shows the trace of the blade that revealed it, an object defined as much by what has been taken away as by what remains.
